Small Miracles
This morning, I wanted to listen to a podcast on Spotify and do my quiet time. As usual, I turned on my ear bud and waited for it to connect to Bluetooth on my phone. Ah ah! It wasn't connecting o! I repeatedly turned both bluetooth device and phone Bluetooth off and on but it wasn't connecting. 'Service in the mud' I thought to myself. Omoeaux! I prayed over the buds nau. Prayed it would connect sharp sharp and opened my eyes. Nothing!
God abeg, help me do this thing. I did the next natural thing. I went back to my damaged bud and started trying to make it work. That one was even in a worse condition than I had left it. So I came back and as I was waiting for my miracle, an idea (I'd like to call it Holy spirit inspired idea) popped into my mind, "Why not reboot your phone and try again?" I started doing that and there was their confidence and certainty that it would work. And it did. Hallelujah!!! 😂
I learnt two beautiful lessons from this:
1. Miracles doesn't always have to come with the works. Waking up on a new day, having a roof over your head, good health and having amazing friends are miracles we should never take for granted.
2. That we pray for a miracle and it doesn't happen immediately, does not mean that it won't ever happen. It simply means that he is working it out the best way. It could be an idea, or someone to talk to or even something better than what we asked for.
Shalom!!!
