Contentment in Purpose

As we differ in our genetic makeup, so does our purpose in life differ. In this diversity is a union, a coming together for the greater good of the body of Christ.

Think of this -A fully baked cake only comes together with the addition and proper mixing of milk, sugar, flour, eggs, nutmeg and butter. If you think nutmeg is insignificant, try forgetting it and you'll know the difference.
John the baptist was only on this earth to announce the coming of Jesus Christ and thats the only thing we are told about him. He was a voice crying out in the desert for people to repent. Mary's purpose was to carry the Messiah.

Your purpose may be to carry a prophet. Or write fiction stories to encourage others. Or to nurse people back to health. Or to make commodities available to your community. None of these is  insignificant or a small feat. Understanding that you may never need to be a pastor to tell people about Jesus is enough. If God placed you on this earth to raise Godly seed, it is enough and it is a beautiful partnership with God. One that should never be underplayed. At the same time, this is not to encourage mediocrity. Understanding your purpose and developing a system for excellence is of utmost importance.

If we can just be satisfied with being in the centre of God's purpose for us and immerse ourselves in it, then it is and will always be enough.

TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:
Ecclesiastes 3:1 AMPC
